hibiscus margarita
Who doesn’t love a good margarita? While we love the classic version, we like to experiment with different flavors and even use our line of Preservation jams & jellies as mixers.
A traditional Mexican fruit drink is called agua de Jamaica. It is made by steeping dried hibiscus flowers in hot water, straining out the flowers and adding sugar. Inspired by this agua fresca, we made the margarita with our Hibiscus Jelly. Mixed with tequila, lime juice and orange liqueur, it’s a fun spin on the traditional cocktail. We serve it straight up, but you can serve it frozen or over rocks if you prefer. Salud!
